How we work
- Sources first. Every factual claim links to a source, listed at the bottom of each page and on our sources page. We prefer official sources: laws and regulations, government travel pages, and protected-area records.
- Dated prices. Prices are shown "as listed" with the date we checked them. We do not publish quotes we have not seen.
- No invented detail. We do not publish catch rates, reviews or captain rankings we cannot verify. Where something is unknown, we say so.
- Disagreements shown. When sources disagree, for example on season start and end, we show both.
Independence and money
We plan to fund the site through affiliate links, and we will mark them. Read the affiliate disclosure. Commissions will never decide what we say about a destination or an operator.
Corrections
Fishing, rules and prices change. If something here is wrong or out of date, contact us and we will fix it and note the change. (Contact address to be added before launch.)
